Check Facebook through Microsoft Office Outlook
Date: July 13 2010
If you're a Microsoft Office Outlook user on your desktop PC but you love social media – then here's some good news.
Microsoft has released a version of the Outlook Social Connector to work with Facebook accounts.
It means you can view people's status updates, pictures and other information right next to an email from them.
You can also then add new "Friends" to Facebook from within Outlook allowing you to grow your network via messages you receive.
The Outlook Social Connector also now works with Windows Live Messenger and runs on all the most-used Outlook versions, 2003, 2007 and the latest release, Outlook 2010.
