Geek Squad, Technology and Me!
- There's a gentleman here wearing a pink tutu...
...we're a bit crazy like that. He's actually one of the managers, and he's had a bet with his team that if they reached their targets, he'd dress as a ballerina all day. That kind of thing is what we're all about at Geek Squad. A lot of the highly technological stuff we do can be quite dry, so we make it all as fun as possible for our customers and ourselves. - We get a lot of celebrities calling for help...
...but we can't say who they are. They get all the best kit and are not quite sure how to get it working together, so they just need a bit of a helping hand sometimes. We have done a lot of work for one actor, setting up his Apple software and devices. He had about three different systems, routers and everything, and wanted it to stream to his TV. It's always fun when you get to advise on the best kit that's out there, and he seemed to enjoy it. - I'm, always looking out for the next big trend in technology...
...so that way we can be completely up-to-speed. Personally right now, I can't wait to get going on 3D TV. It's going to be a huge thing not just for us as Agents, but for everyone. The first time you see The Simpsons in 3D, it'll change everything. The real breakthrough has come by changing the glasses. Nobody wants to wear those silly plastic things, but they'll be happy to sit there with a nice pair of Armani 3D shades. 3D TV and 3D gaming, I can't wait.

Tablet Computers
A lot of the emphasis at the moment is towards tablet computers because of the Apple iPad coming out. I have mixed feelings about that iPad. Personally I don't think it's going to be of great significance to the likes of you and I, but in a corporate office situation, they're going to be a fantastic tool, as will the other tablets when they come on to the market. The fact you can present something on the go is perfect for the office situation.
My most satisfying Geek Squad moment...
...hard to say. I get a buzz out of it all. When you're teaching someone something new, it's very rewarding. And no two days are the same because technology is growing at such an incredible rate. As soon as you've got to grips with things, something new comes along.
